Writing 101 Day 10 Farewell

Farewell

Once the fog begins to crept out and evaporate the sea

Gliding is a sign slowly becoming visible

…F a r e w e l l…

To my relief; it is not goodbye

For we poets, are unified

…We are…

Building blocks making letters form

Words that actually feel in reality from an

Imaginary world

Fall down on paper

With a pen

It’s been an amazing journey

Farewell

As quickly a lizard changes colors

To avoid wild predators

I can change my demeanor

Suppress emotions I don’t wish to share

But the light burns within

Bright as the sun

Nevertheless

It can’t be revealed

Sadly in this life of mine

Mankind has been a predator and tore my

♥Heart♥

There’s a real Ms. Vee

And another side of me

The one that you’ll most likely see

The side that is

…Camouflaged…

Writing 101 Day 8 Graffiti

…Graffiti… is it sprayed or painted destruction of property

Visible on a train or bus, but more likely drew on a wall

Many may shade their heads in disgust

To them it’s meaningless, an eye-sore of splashes

That trashes the community

What I see is a mystifying expression of art

…Graffiti…

Where a wall is an easel

I often think I see him watching me

Peeking from behind the sun

He is my beloved

I taste his tears when raindrops fall

On shaking ground he walks

I feel his fear he must be near

Yes he is my beloved

When I turn off the lights

There’s a fire in the night

In the quietness of the dark

With burning desire

He ignited the spark

He’s on the mark

Whoa! He is my

Beloved

If a picture is worth a thousand words

A snapshot and painting

Are pieces of art

Does this merely stand true when you are gone?

The polaroid was once the norm

It captured you in paper form

Now electronics make you look rich

I ponder the question

Which one do I pick?

Picasso blue

Rembrandt dark

I must not forget

Vincent van Gogh

Writing 101 Day 4 Seconds

I searched for you on the other side the split second that you were gone. You promised there’d be a light to guide me to the very spot.

I’m positive I touched your hand, it was frigid, but not yet rigid, nevertheless, I couldn’t grab ahold, and it was extremely dark, and grey. It’s not time for me to hold your hand.

Just a touch is not enough. I will return every year, this day, at this time; there’s no window for error, and you were always late.

Since time is of the essence, I’ve decided to stay here

And wait…wait…wait…In reality it’s only a matter of seconds

One before…The second of…And one after

I won’t miss you the next time I try.

You will always be my only love; upon the earth, or under sand.

Writing 101 Day 3 Sleep

From darkness into the pitfalls of blackness is where my demons hide

Their lives come alive when I close my eyes

It’s supposed to be a restful slumber

But they have other things in mind

They lurk in the corner of my brain

And build up momentum, and I stay the same

It’s an evil game we play

As I awake every night

Gasping for

Air

Writing 101 Day 2 Reflections

Incognito slits of reflections from marbles

Rolling and spinning

All over the floor, form a stunning image in a

Bolder

Of what waits outside the door.

It’s a hard, cold, and

Manipulating reality.

In a beautiful

World.

Writing 101, Poetry Day 1

It wasn’t the dragon, or the man in the moon, so clear the smoke from your eyes and find the magic, it’s made from peace.

I grabbed a bit of magic from a place that’s bought me peace. It isn’t far away, just hollow and embedded deep. The soul and spirit of the light is all you need to see. I ponder why this seems so difficult for mankind, when it’s as easy as can be.
