The Nap

I laid down this afternoon and took a

Nap…

Fell fast asleep and dreamed of

Doom…

The moon was looming in the

Day…

Waiting for the sunshine to find its

Way…

It frightened me in such a

Way…

I knew this dream had ran

Astray…

For mistakes I’ve made in life I’d have to

Pay..

I’m still asleep, I hope and

Pray…

To wake to see the moon at

Night…

And the lovely sunshine of another

Day…

Daydreaming? What Do You Think?

It is daylight, but it’s dark. I hear hissing, roaring, and growling.

I see sparks of energy, with a great force behind them.

Walking to the window, I see many slow-moving objects, with beams of light. The skyline is breath-taking.

Am I Dreaming?

Suddenly, I see passing shadows. It is again daylight.

I haven’t been dreaming. It had been a passing storm.
