Do leaves feel when they are transitioning in the change of season?
Maybe they shiver when the autumn breeze blows
Perhaps this is the reason why they crack
Do they attempt to grip the twig before they snap?
And gracefully float to the ground
Then get in bunches, and this;
This is when they
…Cry…
Good bye

I think maybe it’s the winds and rain that cause them to let go and fall! I love this time of year M’s Vee! I wanted to come by and ask for prayers. I shut down the comments in my blog and also I’m changing fears. But the reason I am asking for your prayers is Alex woke up yesterday morning blind in her right eye! We went to the ER and no stroke or blood clot! So tomorrow we see a retina specialist! Would you please pray for Alex M’s Vee! I wanted to visit and say hi and I love you!

Oh I forgot to mention this doesn’t have anything to do with diabetes she has had a rare eye disease called Optic Nerve Drusen which is protein deposits on the optic nerve! The fact that she’s been a juvenile diabetic since the age of 2 makes for the “perfect storm” so scary to think it’s the thing I didn’t fear but in the back of my mind I was always away of it and made sure her doctors watched it! The sudden blindness is because the blood vessels flowing to the eye are I between the protein deposits and somehow there is inflammation that is closing off blood flow! Today a retina specialist till see if there is anything she can do! I’m not stopping till I find a doctor that can help her! Just wanted you to know all the facts because Alex has always been vigilant to take care of herself and also me! Well there was those teen years too so! Anyway just thought of you first thing this morning! I love you and thank you for your prayers! Have a great day!

I just called the doctor at 8 am and she’s not in. That poor kid that they called in on Saturday I could tell he was freaked out when I told him what all was wrong. When I said Optic Nerve Drusen his eyes got big as saucers. It’s rare and he probably will never see it again! Great Alex has something no one has ever seen. She also has a rare skin condition called Harrald’s patch. It only comes out during stress and makes a Christmas tree shape rash. I remember her doctor called in all the interns and said look at this you will only see this in text books. Wow. Okay so Alex has always been like this! Doctors don’t know why so many diseases have attacked her body but one thing I told her was that thank her body because it’s so strong and fights. I love that so much! yay for that! So we have a 1 pm appointment with an eye specialist. I will let you know Ms Vee! Thank you for your prayers! I love you!

We are in the hospital she’s having an MRI now and they are testing for Lyme disease and anything neurological that would cause sudden blindness. Her doctor said she has an inflamed optic nerve and because it came suddenly he is treating it aggressively with steroids in hopes that the swelling will go down and her sight will return😳 I took her to a different hospital the group she works for and this dr seems to know what he’s doing! Thank you Ms Vee I love you! ❤️😍
