This was once a house
…Full…
Of love and joy
…Laughter…
Was the sound
…Echoing…
Off the walls. It seemed so sudden
…My…
Children left to start lives of
…Their…
Own. Returning home from
…Work…
Today, I found I’m all
…Alone…
Sitting in this empty room
…This…
Place is not a home

Thank you Laurie. Yes especially if it’s daddy’s girl. 🙂

Awwww, I hear you! It’s a big loss isn’t it, when you loved being a mom~

Yes it is. I remember thinking I can’t wait until they are grown and out of the house. My grandchildren are grown, but I talked to both of my children yesterday, and they inspired me to write the post.

It is. I found myself missing the feeling of being needed by my babies. OMG if they saw I called them babies…They’d flip. LOL

OH got Ms Vee. I’m so happy I read this! I said to myself the other day I can’t wait to be alone and I know that is not so! I think that too! But when she’s gone I miss her like crazy! I love you Ms Vee!

I love you too! Yes it’s nice to have alone time, but our children are missed when they’re grown and out of the house.
