With fire ablaze across the street
The night is over, I will not sleep
My heart is heavy, the soul is weak
My soul is burning, as I watch and weep
The neighbor’s house was torched by a gang
Immediately following , I heard a big bang
With flames rising high, and the smell of the smoke
I’m gasping for air, I am going to choke

I like it. I use to have a dream where my daughters died in a fire. I hated that dream until my daughters were much older than they were in the dream.

What a horrible nightmare. I am deathly afraid of fire and spiders. Daughters are wonderful. I have one. I am glad you liked it, and thank you for your comments. Keep them coming, positive or negative. That is how we grow, and learn. Have a wonderful day.

How terribly yuck! 😦 Well written and I think it has the impact it is supposed to which is frustration, devastation, feeling of loss – ouch!
