Ondria Hardin a 16-year-old white teenage model, is portrayed  in Numero Magazine as “African Queen.”  This is not a  mere set back for young aspiring cultural models. It is an insult to the black race. It is in bad taste, and I am flabbergasted.

The fashion industry is a cruel and demanding market. There are thousands of beautiful, talented , black models. Most, are turned away, if not rejected. Never given the opportunity to  get an interview. The reason is based on the color of their natural skin. NATURAL, being the black born, true sister.

Surely there are thousands of black models trying to get recognition, and find stardom. It appears not matter what your struggle may be, your future attempt is a grueling battle. My black sisters, don’t get discouraged. Maintain your pride. No one, I mean no one, can be an imitation of an African Queen. We are all beautiful and definitely Queens, on this planet! For Life…. The photo shows one Queen among the many. Stay strong, Live long….No photo of Ondria Hardin will be shown in my blog!
